Amand Ebokosia, Newark Youth One Stop
During the Gem Project Fellows final week, they took part in week 2 of an intensive, where they were invited into a network we built called: https://network.thegemproject.org, where they processed their summer through different forms of activities. They had an opportunity to host a Facebook Live event where the fellows presented about how to boost one’s social capital after completing their summer work with an organizing director at Riders Alliance and a Job Developer from Youthbuild. At the Network project, fellows were able to receive mentorship for 3 days from professionals across therapists, journalists (WBGO), non-tech coding from a Growth & Inclusion manager at Bubble, and business professionals across many sectors.
